Man Utd, Tottenham head queue for Chelsea outcast Joe Cole

Joe Cole was again ignored by Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelott for last night's Champions League defeat at Inter Milan. The Mirror says the ex-West Ham man has yet to sign a new deal at Chelsea, even though his contract expires in the summer. Of course, he wants to stay with the team closing in on a third Premier League title.

But, should Ancelotti decide he can do without the playmaker, there will be no shortage of takers - both home and abroad.

Harry Redknapp at Spurs has too much respect for Chelsea to openly declare he'd be in there like a shot - but he would be.

Manchester United would be sorely tempted to take Joe Cole for free while, as would Liverpool, Everton and a host of other clubs both here in England and abroad.
