Man Utd, Tottenham & Chelsea register interest in Brighton defender White

A host of Premier League clubs are interested in Brighton defender Ben White.

The 23-year-old has impressed in the Premier League this season, having spent last season helping Leeds get promoted to the top-flight.

And Sky Sports claims Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea are monitoring the athletic centre-back.

United are desperate to sign another centre-back, despite having Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Timothy Fosu-Mensah in their squad.

Chelsea signed Thiago Silva in the summer but want a long-term replacement for the 36-year-old.

Jose Mourinho is trying to fill his defence with youth, having signed Joe Rodon from Swansea and let Jan Vertonghen leave on a free transfer.

Liverpool were strongly linked with White over the summer and could revive their interest given their current injury crisis.
