Man Utd told to wait for Jovetic

The 17-year-old has emerged as one of the hottest properties in Europe and reports suggest United are heading the chase for his signature.

The Premier League champions' cross-town rivals Manchester City, along with Ajax, Sampdoria and Real Madrid, have also been linked with the Montenegro international, who is valued at £7million.

"We must decide the pros and cons of selling Jovetic," Partizan director Gordan Petric said.

"We will decide that at the end of the season. A lot of clubs are interested in him."

Montenegrin FA president Dejan Savicevic thinks Jovetic would be a good signing for United.

"I am not surprised by the interest of Manchester United," he told The Sun.

"Stevan could play in any of the biggest clubs in Europe. And I think United would get him on the cheap even for £7million."
