Manchester United are eyeing Lille youngster Boubakary Soumare as a replacement Paul Pogba next summer.
ESPN says the 20-year-old has impressed in Ligue 1 this season and, with his contract expiring this summer, the Old Trafford side have sent scouts to track his progress.
A number of Champions League clubs have registered their interest in the France Under-21 international, whose rangy style has drawn comparisons with Pogba.
Soumare has featured for the club in the Champions League this season against Valencia and Chelsea.
To date, Soumare has made 40 league appearances since moving to Lille from Paris Saint-German in 2017.
