French champions PSG are keeping an eye on how the De Gea situation unfolds.

And while United have considered Ajax's Andre Onana, Barcelona's Jasper Cillessen and Everton's Jordan Pickford as replacements, Solskjaer will instead stick with what he has at his disposal.

Argentina international Romero has made 44 appearances since arriving at United in 2015, when transfer speculation was also engulfing De Gea.
