Manchester United are set to make a loan offer for Youri Tielemans.

Het Nieuwsblad reports United could look to strike a deal before deadline day to recruit the central midfielder after an update to his situation at Monaco.

Leonardo Jardim has returned as manager of the Ligue 1 club following Thierry Henry's dismissal, which could open the door for Tielemans to exit in the coming days.

The 21-year-old is not thought to be in the new plans under Jardim and it is suggested Monaco could look to sell the Belgian international before the January deadline.

However, United are only reported to be interested in a short-term loan for Tielemans and would not sanction an immediate transfer yet.
