Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.
Van de Beek has also been linked with Real Madrid, however the player believes the speculation is the stuff of fantasy football, says Mundo Deportivo.
As such, United are the most serious suitor for the Holland international, who is ready to leave Ajax. And they're keen to wrap up a deal in the first days of the summer market.
Interestingly, it's claimed Real had a €50m offer for Van de Beek accepted by Ajax in January - only for coach Zinedine Zidane to block the deal.
Just this week, Ajax chief Edwin van der Sar said, "It's clear that clubs like Real Madrid and United are showing interest in Donny van de Beek."
