Ozan Tufan will stay in Turkey with Fenerbahce despite interest from Manchester United.

Turkish Football reports that the midfielder is prepared to remain in Istanbul after it became apparent that United were yet to submit a formal offer.

The 21-year-old Turkey international was heavily favoured to make a summer move to Old Trafford with some betting agencies drastically slashing the odds on a transfer from the Turkish Super Lig to the Premier League.

However, Fenerbahce will keep hold of the talented and versatile youngster, who can be deployed as a right-back as well as on the right wing, for at least another season.
