Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar admits he's opened new contract talks.

Skriniar attracted enquiries from Manchester United over the summer and a fresh approach in recent days has kicked Inter into action.

The defender has now confirmed negotiations are underway about a new deal.

Skriniar said, "We are talking, let's see, I want to give continuity to the work done the past year.

"The important thing is to help the team because Inter must always do better, the team is stronger so we want to achieve important results."
