Ilkay Gundogan has signed a new contract with Borussia Dortmund.
The 24-year old midfielder has penned a two-year extension with the Bundesliga club, ending any speculation regarding his future.
Gundogan was being heavily linked with a summer move to Manchester United but has opted to stay put at the Westfalenstadion after initially joining from FC Nurnberg in 2011.
The 11-time Germany international will now remain with Dortmund until the summer of 2017.
"The first days of pre-season are over and it's been fun to work with the coaches and my team-mates," the Dortmund midfielder told the club's official website.
"I'm happy that we finally have clarity and I can continue playing football for Borussia Dortmund. I'll turn my focus immediately to preparation – in August we want to attack fully again."
