Manchester United are set to give Louis van Gaal a further £150million to spend this summer. The Red Devils distributed just over that amount on a number of players at the beginning of the 2014/15 campaign but it appears as though the Dutchman will be given a new war chest to add extra quality to his under-fire squad.
The Express is of the belief that United are set to go after a number of players in the next transfer window and will look to offload a handful of high-earners when June rolls around.
It is believed that Borussia Dortmund centre-half Mats Hummels, Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman and Wolfsburg winger Kevin de Bruyne are at the top of van Gaal's wishlist while PSV Eindhoven winger Memphis Depay, Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne, West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino and Burnley striker Danny Ings are also being linked with Old Trafford.
