Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford admits it's a struggle seeing their Northwest rivals dominating at home and in Europe.
Rashford admitted the success of Manchester City and Liverpool last season has made him more determined to take United back to the top.
“For me, yeah," said Rashford. “That just makes it an even bigger challenge to us.
“We never shy away from a challenge and we have to move forward as a team. The mood now is how it should be, everyone is positive. Last season wasn't good enough.
“But we're in much better condition then we were this time last year."
Rashford recently signed a five-year deal worth £200,000-a-week, rising to £300,000-a-week with bonuses and performance-related clauses.
“For me it has always been a goal to get us back to where we should be," said Rashford. “It wasn't a hard decision and we're all looking forward to it."
“I think we have to take it one game at a time. But for us we can't look too far ahead, we just have to concentrate on ourselves."
