Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial is delighted to be back in action for France.

Martial played his first international match since March 2018 on Tuesday, when France beat Croatia 4-2.

"It has been a long time since I have played for France and it was important for me to play a good match. I'm really happy," Martial told TF1.

"It was a bit complicated at first because we did not have the ball, but as soon as we managed to combine, we knew how to make it dangerous for them.

"It was a fantastic victory. We collected points and that was important."
