Manchester United striker Kiko Macheda was delighted with his double on debut for Doncaster Rovers.
The Italian struck twice in Donny's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Macheda said he chose Rovers over a host of other Championship clubs because of boss Paul Dickov and would be happy to extend his month-long loan.
"The manager has been chasing me for a long time. I came here because of him and I wanted to thank him," said Macheda.
"It's thanks to him I have my confidence back. Hopefully I can stay until January."
