Manchester United's Will Keane is set to undergo a medical with Hull City ahead of a permanent move to the KCOM Stadium.

Reports suggest that the 23-year-old striker is set to link up with former United assistant Mike Phelan for an undisclosed fee.

Keane spent time on loan with Preston North End last term and has previously enjoyed temporary stints Sheffield Wednesday, Queens Park Rangers and Wigan Athletic.

Tigers boss Phelan is determined to attract new names to his squad and it is expected that Keane's transfer will be completed prior to Wednesday night's deadline.
