Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo is rethinking his international retirement.
The 30-year-old forward retired from international duty last year partly due to commuting issues from China, but is now contemplating a return following his rejuvenated form at United, says the Manchester Evening News.
In total the United forward has scored 16 goals in 35 appearances since his full international debut for Nigeria in 2015, and he is now interested in making himself available for selection again.
"I am still thinking about returning to the national team," Ighalo told Brila FM on Thursday night. "But right now, I want to concentrate on my club career.
"I left the national team because of the distance between Nigeria and China, but now that I am in Manchester, you never can tell."
