Man Utd striker Diouf delighted with Blackburn debut

Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf is delighted with his loan move to Blackburn Rovers.

Diouf scored on his debut in the friendly against Hearts on Saturday.

He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "It is always a pleasure to be playing football and that is why I am here. I just want to enjoy it and give my best for the team.

"It has been a busy last 24 hours. That is life. Sometimes things don't happen like you want.

"I always want to do my best for the team though it doesn't matter how long I have been waiting for.

"I was waiting maybe 20 hours but now I am here and looking forward."
