Man Utd star Rashford hits back over property investment article

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was livid at an article in the Daily Mail mentioning his buying property.

Rashford has been investing his money into property as a means to provide for himself and his family in the future.

A Daily Mail headline about the story read: "What a result! Campaigning football star Marcus Rashford has bought five luxury homes worth more than £2million."

Rashford has been working hard to lobby the UK government to extend free school meals for underprivileged children.

He responded to the article on Twitter.

"Ok, so let's address this," he posted.

"I'm 23. I came from little. I need to protect not just my future but my family's too. To do that I made a decision at the beg of 2020 to start investing more in property. Please don't run stories like this alongside refs to 'campaigning'."

Rashford followed that up with another tweet: "Anyway, in nicer news, I've been working on a project for months now behind the scenes and I can't wait to share it with you all next week.

"It's something I'm really proud of and something I feel our children need. Best get back to work on it. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!"
