Man Utd star McTominay sends warning to England ahead of Scotland clash

Scotland midfielder Scot McTominay has a warning for England as the two nations go head to head at Euro 2020 on Friday.

The two rivals are playing their second group games of the tournament, with England coming off the back of a win over Croatia.

Manchester United and Scotland star McTominay, who was in the team that lost the opening game to Czech Republic, believes they have what it takes to topple their fancied rivals on Friday.

He said: "There has to be belief, there has to be a confidence level that you can go to any team and play well against them, whether that's England at Wembley or a different nation.

"You have to have that self belief, that level of arrogance where we are more than suited to play on this stage and we've proved that on our journey to get here. We've had it tough. It's not been easy.

"We need to enjoy the moment and I feel we were unfortunate on Monday, we conceded a goal which could not have come at a worse time but we can take positives from Monday which can help us."
