The Portuguese midfielder arrived in January and has impressed in the Premier League and Europa League since then.
But he has not played with Pogba, as the latter was injured for the majority of this season.
Now both are fit and could play together when the league resumes in mid-June.
"Yes of course [excited], I think Paul is one of the best players in Manchester and in the world," he said in an Instagram Live chat with former Macedonian international striker Mario Djurovski.
"He was injured for a lot of time.
"The opportunity to play side to side with him is fantastic because you want to play with the best players you can."
