Man Utd, Spurs hero Sheringham taking Swindon job

Manchester United and Tottenham hero Teddy Sheringham is set to take the job at Swindon Town.

Sky Sports says Sheringham is the new manager of Swindon.

The 51-year-old former Tottenham and Manchester United forward replaces Luke Williams, who was in charge last season when they were relegated to League Two.

Sheringham spent 33 matches as boss of Stevenage during 2015/16 before being sacked by the Hertfordshire club.

As for Swindon, the Cherries finished third from bottom of League One winning only 11 of 46 matches.
