Man Utd, Spurs approached as Real Madrid slash Bale price

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is prepared to sell Gareth Bale for a 'knockdown' fee this summer.

ABC says Florentino has informed intermediaries that Bale can leave for €80m, though he could even cut that price to €75m.

It's suggested Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett is now working on finding Bale a return to the Premier League, where Manchester United and former club Tottenham have both been mentioned as destinations.

Just last week, Barnett floated the idea of Bale moving to Old Trafford.

"Manchester United? He could go," revealed Barnett.

"I think he could get there, he's still one of the best players in the world.

"But it's unlikely..."
