Manchester United signing Donny van de Beek admits he has talked about the club with the likes of Edwin van der Sar and Daley Blind.
United have a long history of Dutch players coming to the club, with van der Sar and Blind two of the most prominent ones.
The former is a director at Ajax, while Blind players for the Dutch club. Van de Beek is a recent United signing, penning a five-year contract.
Asked about joining the club by the official website, the Dutchman said: "Thank you. First of all it's really nice. In my career it's a good time to make a step to a nice club.
"I think I have made a really good decision to join this amazing club. I cannot explain [how I feel]. I have heard all the stories from the old players, including Edwin [van der Sar], our old director, and Daley Blind, my old team-mate, and I cannot wait to play for the club."
The reporter asked if van de Beek had talked with van der Sar about the move, and he said: "Yes, I talked with him and he told me a lot of stories about the club and about everything. He told how big the club is and how nice an experience he had with it."
