Manchester United signing Memphis Depay struck for Holland in their 3-4 friendly defeat to the USA.

Depay was on target for Holland in a thrilling defeat against the United States of America at the Amsterdam ArenA on Friday night.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar opened the scoring for the Dutch with 27 minutes gone before Gyasi Zardes equalised for the visitors shortly afterwards. Huntelaar then doubled his tally after the break while his attempt at a hat-trick deflected in off Depay.

It left the Dutch on course for a straightforward friendly win, but John Brooks gave the visitors hope with 19 minutes remaining. Danny Williams then equalised in the final minute before Bobby Wood scored an unlikely winner in injury time as the United States recorded their first-ever win over Holland.
