Ander Herrera believes a club as big as Manchester United should be competing on every front for silverware.
As the Red Devils prepare for Saturday's FA Cup final against Crystal Palace at Wembley, Spanish midfielder Herrera admitted that only one chance of a trophy per season is simply not enough for United.
Louis van Gaal's side finished fifth on the Premier League table, were knocked out in the last 16 of the Capital One Cup and saw their time in the Europa League ended by rivals Liverpool, also in the last 16.
For Herrera, that is not good enough: "We are Manchester United and we have to fight for everything.
"That starts with the FA Cup now.
"As players at a big club, we have to look for success and we have to be demanding of ourselves and with the club.
"We have to be realistic. United should be fighting for every title. We didn't do that with the Champions League, we didn't do that with the Premier League.
"So, we have two options. Firstly, feel sorry for ourselves or, secondly, get this trophy for the fans, for our club and for ourselves."
