Manchester United are set to welcome seven first team players to training in pre-season, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils are stepping up preparations for the new season, when they take on Leeds United at Old Trafford on the opening weekend.

United will have England trio Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho and Luke Shaw in training, while Paul Pogba, David De Gea, Edinson Cavani and Fred will also report back on Monday.

One who will not be involved is Marcus Rashford, as the attacker is undergoing surgery on a shoulder problem.

United will spend part of the week at a training camp in Scotland.

The Red Devils face Everton in a friendly on Saturday at Old Trafford.
