Manchester United are considering a move for Swansea defender Joe Rodon.

The Welsh star, 22, has impressed United legend Ryan Giggs.

And the Wales boss has encouraged his old team to sign Rodon, per the Mirror.

It appears United are likely to make a £20 million move for the player this summer.

A defender is a priority for United, especially if Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones all depart this summer.

Giggs also recommended that United sign Daniel James last summer, and he has impressed in his first season at the club.
