Manchester United are instilling a new policy of sending youngsters on loan to League Two clubs for brief periods.
According to The Athletic, United are taking a new approach to getting first team experience for their academy stars.
Rather than sending them on half season or season long loans, they plan to give them "Pro Experience" through one or two-week loans.
The plan is being spearheaded by Justine Cochrane, who recently joined United as their head of academy player development.
Prospects Joe Hugill and Charlie Wellens have already spent a week with Forest Green Rovers.
Charlie McNeill and Dillon Hoogewerf also went to Sheffield Wednesday.
