Man Utd sell over 50,000 tickets for FAYC final against Nottingham Forest

More than 50,000 tickets have now been sold for Manchester United's FA Youth Cup final against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford, shattering the previous competition record.

Match tickets, which are available online, cost just £1 and all proceeds go to the Manchester United Foundation, which works with disadvantaged kids in Greater Manchester.

Unless the game sells out, tickets will remain on sale via manutd.com/tickets until kick-off at 19:30 BST on Wednesday 11 May. But with 52,000 already sold, booking as early as possible is recommended to avoid disappointment.

The previous FA Youth Cup crowd record was set in 2008 when 38,137 fans attended Unitd's semi-final away to Arsenal. With thousands of tickets for this year's final being sold each day, United's support are ready to blow that number out of the water.
