Canadian ace Alphonso Davies is being tracked by Manchester United.

The Daily Mail says spies from Old Trafford were in the stands to watch the winger in action for Vancouver Whitecaps last night.

Davies, 16, was first linked with United last year.

Nicky Butt has been tasked with providing more players for the first-team - and the club are busy hoovering up the best youngsters in world football.

Davies could fit the bill for the club as they look to expand.

He featured off the bench last night as the Whitecaps were knocked out of the CONCACAF Champion League by Mexican side Tigres.
