Manchester United are watching Borussia Monchengladbach defender Ramy Bensebaini.

The Sun says United could move for Bensebaini as current left-backs Luke Shaw and Alex Telles struggle.

Lifelong United fan Bensebaini has reportedly rejected Monchengladbach's attempts to extend his contract beyond 2023.

It's understood United have watched Bensebaini in recent weeks.

And last year he told BBC Africa: "I have been a Manchester United fan since I was very little.

"The Premier League has always attracted me. Everyone knows that I am a United fan.

"I am with Gladbach for now, and I am happy with them.

"But if one day I get the opportunity to make an upward step, and have a change of scene, I will seriously think about it."

Bensebaini has flourished since joining the Bundesliga giants from Rennes three years ago.
