Manchester United scout Sandro Orlandelli says manager Jose Mourinho needed more time in charge.

Speaking at the Wyscout conference in Amsterdam, Orlandelli discussed United's plans for the market and Mourinho's demise.

Record quotes Orlandelli stating: "Jose Mourinho didn't have enough time at Manchester United to do a decent job for such a big club."

The scout stated United need to strengthen the squad in all positions.

He also admitted the club was currently undergoing "a period of great restructuring".
