According to The Express, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is planning on spending big in the summer by purchasing PSG's Blaise Matuidi and Monaco's Bernardo Silva.

With United's midfield stocks reportedly not up to the Portuguese' standard, Mourinho is prepared to spend £80 million on the two Ligue One players.

Matiudi is rated around £30 million and is a player that has been on Mourinho's radar for quite some time. His presence in a deep lying midfield role would seemingly allow fellow French international Paul Pogba more creative freedom going forward.

Silva, who is also a target for Real Madrid, will cost United £50 million. The 22-year old has made it clear to Monaco that he is looking to move to a bigger club after some outstanding performances in the Champions League this season.
