Federico Macheda has signed a new loan contract with Doncaster Rovers.
The 22-year old Manchester United striker spent time with the Championship club from mid-September, scoring three goals in five league outings, before returning to his parent club with a hamstring injury.
But the two clubs have been able to agree a further loan spell which will see the Italian remain at Keepmoat until the end of December.
"I am delighted I have been able to convince 'Kiko' to re-join us as it will add to our attacking options," Rovers boss Paul Dickov told the club's official website.
"I know that he was happy here and knows the set-up well."
