Manchester United have joined the battle for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen on striking a deal for the Argentine international, who is currently away at Copa America, as he overhauls his squad this summer.

But Marca says Lo Celso is among a list of targets for the United boss and they will look to challenge Tottenham for his signature.

Lo Celso joined Betis on a permanent deal a year ago but is wanted by Spurs as a replacement for Christian Eriksen.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bring in midfield options this summer and that search will intensify if Paul Pogba gets his wish and leaves the club.
