Manchester United have joined the interest in Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby.
The France international has long been linked with a move to England, where Arsenal and Newcastle have held an interest.
Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg is reporting United have now entered the fray.
Diaby has managed 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions for Bayer this season.
Plettenberg stated: "News #Diaby: He's on the list of @NUFC but understand that it was not advanced in the last months.
"@ManUtd is monitoring his situation instead and confirmed. Next steps depend on the club's ownership.
"Bayer's price valuation between €70-80m. Contract until 2025. Key player for (Xabi) Alonso."
