Man Utd register 4 youngsters with senior squad

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has added four youngsters to his senior squad.

United have officially added young players Mason Greenwood, Angel Gomes, Tahith Chong and James Garner to their first team squad.

Solskjaer is keen for the quarter to be heavily involved in first team matters this coming season, with Greenwood introduced as a substitute in both of United's opening matches.

The four have been regularly training with United's first team squad and have now been included on the 'first team players' section on the official club website.

The Manchester Evening News says Greenwood is in contention to start in this weekend's clash against Palace. The 17-year-old made his competitive United debut in the final game of last season against Cardiff, before impressing in pre-season.
