Manchester United are set to get the green light to sign Marcel Sabitzer permanently.

The Austria midfielder is on a straight loan from Bayern Munich to June.

There had been concerns at United that Sabitzer would be required to return to Bayern next season after Thomas Tuchel's appointment as new manager.

But Kerry Hau, chief reporter for SPORT1, states Bayern will allow the midfielder to join the Red Devils this summer.

For his part, Sabitzer has made it clear he'd like to sign for United long-term.
