Manchester United are believed to be preparing a tantalising proposal for Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski.

According to Sport Bild, the Red Devils are willing to offer the Polish striker more than £10million-per-year to lure him to Old Trafford.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered 27-year-old Lewandowski £10.9m-a-year to join them at Parc des Princes but United are determined to fix their goalscoring woes by beating that bid.

Louis van Gaal is looking for a quality attacker to add to his line-up which has scored just 21 goals in 16 Premier League matches thus far.

Lewandowski has been electric for Bayern this season, scoring 22 goals in all competitions, 15 of which have come in 15 league outings.
