Manchester United are set to push on with their pursuit of Real Madrid's Raphael Varane.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are prepared to pay £25million for the 23-year-old defender as they look to bolster their defence this summer.
France international Varane was on the radar of United back in 2011 but the centre-back instead moved to Spanish giants Real from Lens.
Now it is believed that United chiefs will make a serious move for Varane if Jose Mourinho happens to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
Mourinho signed Varane when he was in charge at the Santiago Bernabeu and is believed to be seeking a reunion with the talented central defender.
