Nemanja Matic is yet to complete a new deal with Chelsea, raising alarms for long-time admirers Manchester United.

According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are looking to reward Matic for his consistent role in Chelsea's title winning season.

However, with both parties far apart on what they want from the deal, the report suggests United could swoop for the 28-year old.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho bought the Serbian to Stamford Bridge for £21m in 2014, and it is believed he is ready to launch a £35m bid to help him replace the ageing Michael Carrick in the United midfield.
