Manchester United are ready to pounce for Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Cadena SER says Coutinho has told the Catalan club he wants to be sold this summer.

The 26-year-old is upset things haven't gone as well as he expected and he is ready to leave Barcelona as a result.

The report claims Coutinho's agent has told the club he expects to leave this summer.

Barcelona have realised they will not be able to get rid of the midfielder easily and have set an £80million asking price as a result.

Now United and Paris Saint-Germain are set to battle for the signature of Coutinho in what could be a summer-long transfer saga.
