Tottenham have joined the battle for Sporting CP star Bruno Fernandes.
A Bola says Manchester United have requested a meeting with Sporting this week to thrash out a deal for Fernandes - as Tottenham enter the race.
United are willing to splash around £70million for the midfielder, which Sporting are thought to be happy to agree to.
They have already made plans to announce the signing after the end of the Nations League this weekend.
As such, Spurs have perhaps left their move too late with United well down the road to clinching a deal for the midfielder.
