Manchester United have made a sensational move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

Kicker says United and PSG have approached Bayern about a price for the Poland international.

Enquiries from both clubs have been lodged over the past week with the European market just about to open.

United see Lewandowski as a replacement for the unsettled Romelu Lukaku, while PSG plan to sell Edinson Cavani and bring in the Pole.

For his part, Lewandowski has resisted Bayern attempts to discuss new terms, which encouraged rival interest from across Europe.

The striker's current deal runs to 2021.
