Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane wishes to leave this summer.

AS says Varane's minders have informed Real president Florentino Perez he wants to depart at the end of the season.

With a deal to 2022, the France defender feels it is the right time to leave - knowing Manchester United and PSG are among European giants eager to ferry him away.

In response, Florentino is drawing up a final new contract offer in an attempt to convince Varane to stay.

If nothing can be agreed, Real will reluctantly put the World Cup winner up for sale at a starting price of €70m.
