Manchester United will go after Nicolas Otamendi is Valencia fail to qualify for the Champions League.

United will reportedly offer the Spanish club £36million for the Argentine defender if they are unsuccessful in beating Almeria this weekend which could see them miss the top four in La Liga.

Otamendi, 27, has been linked with United in the past and according to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils have reignited their interest ahead of a potential summer swoop.
