Man Utd prepared to sell EIGHT senior players

Manchester United are willing to sell eight senior players this summer.

ESPN says up to eight first-team players have been deemed surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, meaning they all could be let go if big enough offers are received.

The report adds that the eight players on the chopping block are Anthony Martial, Daniel James, Jesse Lingard, Brandon Williams, Diogo Dalot, Alex Telles, Phil Jones, and Andreas Pereira.

With United lacking strength in depth in forward areas last term, ditching talented squad players like James, Lingard and Martial may leave the side short on goals if injuries strike.

By contrast, it's entirely possible that such sales would help finance replacements, as the Red Devils set out to win their first Premier League title since 2013.
