Manchester United are reportedly planning a winter move for Rodrigo Caio.

The Daily Star is of the belief that the Red Devils are showing considerable interest in the Sao Paulo star who won Olympic Gold with Brazil at Rio 2016.

It is understood that Jose Mourinho has the 23-year-old pencilled in for a role as a defensive midfielder and is willing to pay around £12million for his services.

Caio can also operate in central defence which makes him an attractive prospect for United.

There is plenty of interest in Caio, who is expected to leave Sao Paulo in January, with suggestions that PSG, AC Milan and Sevilla are also keen.
