Man Utd players remain behind Jose Mourinho

Manchester United players remain behind manager Jose Mourinho.

The Manchester Evening News says he is still popular after making a good initial impression at the club.

United were reportedly in good spirits before their EFL Cup victory against Northampton, while some senior players have said they have never experienced a better atmosphere at Old Trafford.

Mourinho's Spanish-speaking contingent are far happier with his management style and the six staff members he has brought to the club than they ever were under Louis van Gaal.

David de Gea, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero have all benefited from the Special One's multi-lingual approach.
