Manchester United have been encouraged as Harry Kane wants Tottenham to listen to offers for him.
The Sun says Kane is set to ask Tottenham owner Daniel Levy to listen to offers for him as United prepare a £90m bid for the striker, according to reports.
The 27-year-old has previously hinted that he could move on from Spurs this summer should his side's situation not improve by the end of the season.
Kane will not put in a transfer request at Tottenham but will make a personal appeal to the club to consider letting him go for the right price.
The report also says the Red Devils are considering a £90million move for Kane, and while Spurs owner Levy values him at nearly double that price, the current coronavirus financial crisis in football makes holding out for such a fee is difficult.
